I can't really recall where the part that the filter screws onto is of it is a remote filter housing or not. Does the filter not tighten at all?
Its not on the block at all, its on the pan, and I beleive that part actually bolts into the pan so you wont have to remove the pan. Give the dealership a call, they will be able to help they are also gonna be the ones to get you one. Glad their no longer in business. Gonna call the dealership for the part and take it to the shop. See if you can pound a 23mm on that nut and get it off and then replace. Try a standard socket instead of a 23mm. There might be one that is slightly under 24mm and it will be much easier to pound it down.
